Carnaby Industrial Site
Site features and the strategic location make the Carnaby Industrial Site an attractive place to invest in industrial activities. Over 100 acres, the site features a 5,000 square foot shop, 2 ton crane and over 10 acres of paved area.
About This Project
Located near New Hazelton, in British Columbia's resource rich northwest region, the Carnaby Industrial Site is a privately owned, over 100 acre brownflield site which formerly hosted a major sawmill and sort yard. The site is self-serviced with water and septic and has access to three phase power.
The New Hazelton area has a long history of working with and encouraging industry and businesses. Historically a logging community, the area is located in the Kispiox Timber Supply Area, which has an annual allowable cut of 1,087,000 cubic metres. The property is 20 kms outside of New Hazelton, which provides an ample buffer for many types of industrial development, but is close enough to easily access the New Hazelton's services.
The site is advantageously positioned directly along the North West Transportation Corridor, which consists of a modern, uncongested port, rail and road network that connects foreign markets to the rest of North America. The site is located directly beside the Yellowhead Highway and the CN main line and is less than 300 km from the Port of Prince Rupert, the Port of Kitimat and the Port of Stewart.
