Masset Municipal Airport Terminal

The Village of Masset is located on the north end of Graham Island, facing Northwest towards Dixon Entrance, Alaska and the Pacific Rim. As the gateway to some of the richest fishing grounds and breathtaking experiences; the Village of Masset has chosen to invest in transportation infrastructure with the construction of a new 9,000 square foot airport terminal.

About This Project

The Village of Masset is looking to invest in the development of a new airport terminal at CZMT. The Masset Municipal Airport has a 5,000ft paved runway and provides a number of services including: Jet-A Fuel, Avgas (emergency barrel sales only), tie downs, GPU Access, baggage carts, and an on-site Airport Superintendent.

The current terminal no longer meets the operational needs of air traffic or operators. The proposed facility will be approximately 9000 square feet, will incorporate innovative green and efficiency technologies, and will feature Haida culture in the design and the materials. The terminal will be constructed adjacent to the current facility which will result in additional apron space for parking and manoeuvring aircrafts.

Currently the facility receives direct flights from Vancouver via Pacific Coastal Airlines.

Haida Gwaii is a unique and bountiful island. Investors should be innovative in their thinking, sustainable in their practice and respectful of the people.
