Sunset Ridge Housing Subdivision
Sunset Ridge is a 300-home subdivision complete with a park, lake, walking trails and beautiful sunset views.
About This Project
Situated in Fort St. John’s northwest quadrant near Finch Elementary School, this premier planned community of over 300 new homes will offer views of rolling hills, flowering trees, a man-made lake & park area, walking trails throughout the subdivision that are connected to the city network of paved walking trails and of course beautiful sunset views. The architecture of the homes is warm with clean lines, contemporary style and family in mind.
The Sunset Ridge subdivision will be more than 30 hectares in size. The lake and park will take up slightly more than a hectare of the subdivision and homes will surround the area. The majority of the subdivision will be single family dwellings and around 10 percent of the homes will be multi-family residences, such as duplexes. One new feature the homes will include is walk-out basements, something that has not previously been provided in Fort St. John.
Sunset Ridge brings beauty and new home features to Fort St. John during a time of prosperity. Fort St. John has one of the fastest growing populations and fastest growing real estate markets in the province. According to the most recent forecast, by 2046, Fort St. John’s population is expected to triple. The continued growth of the city is largely attributed to the availability of jobs and the municipalities’ focus on developing family-friendly communities. The economy is set to grow rapidly due to the development of natural gas based infrastructure.
The proponent, Peace Enterprises Ltd. is a highly regarded Fort St. John builder; a family-owned and operated business that has been building homes for happy clients for over 20 years. Century 21 Energy Realty has become a partner with Peace Enterprises and both companies are now working together, pursuing the common goal of bringing new homes to the people of Fort St. John.
