Taylor Light Industrial Development Park
Taylor Industrial Development Park offers 15,066 hectares of industrial land in the heart of the District of Taylor.
About This Project
The District of Taylor's new light industrial park is on a greenfield that provides an excellent opportunity in northeast British Columbia for establishing manufacturing, processing, and supply facilities within a community of high end industry.
The industrial development park offers 15,066 hectares of easily developed industrial land in the heart of the District of Taylor. The site is not constrained by previous development and as such allows for unhindered industrial development in the heart of a community that welcomes and supports industry.
The industrial park is located along a paved access road with 100% capacity off the Alaska Highway which leads to the Fort St. John Airport located 10 kilometers north of the park. Additionally, the industrial park runs adjacent to an existing rail line with the potential for direct service to the lots.
The District of Taylor is the hub for many industrial facilities and companies. Being located in the North Peace means Taylor has access to one of the greatest wealths of natural resources in the world. The North Peace has a fast-growing economy which hosts a variety of resource industries including oil and gas, mining, energy, agriculture, and forestry. The District of Taylor is in close proximity to Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, and partners in Northern Alberta.
The District of Taylor has been a home to heavy industry for over five decades, and is committed to ensuring a positive and affordable alternative for industrial development. The District of Taylor has one of the lowest residential tax rates in British Columbia. The people of Taylor provide employers with a workforce of 1,025 individuals, and an additional 18,000 labourers are located 20 kilometers away in Fort St. John.
