Tyax Wilderness Resort and Spa

Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa is located in Gold Bridge, B.C. on the shores of Tyaughton Lake, 200 kilometres north of Vancouver, B.C. It is readily accessible by air or ground, yet remote enough to ensure a truly genuine wilderness experience.

About This Project

On the shores of Tyaughton Lake, near Gold Bridge, B.C., Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa is a premier destination for backcountry adventure. The resort features heli-skiing in the winter, and kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, walking, riding, mountain biking, float plane trips, horseback adventures and superb mountain lake fishing in the summer. Around the resort there is a children's playground, outdoor hot tub, infrared sauna, wood sauna, eucalyptus steam room, recreational room and yoga studio. An expansive green lawn leads down to the lake and on warm evenings you can join in a lake side campfire.

Guests will find a cozy atmosphere with accommodation in spacious double rooms, all with en suite bathrooms. With 29 guest rooms, a dining room with vaulted ceilings, a bar lounge, and patio overlooking the lake, Tyax is one of the most impressive and largest log structures in Canada. Bedrooms either overlook the wilderness at the back of the lodge or for a small supplement you can have a lake view room with balcony.

Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa recently went through a full renovation and worked closely with Dream Merchants to provide furnishings, original lighting and a complete range of linens, including beautiful Egyptian cotton sheeting, to update their first-class facilities with a contemporary look while staying true to the serene wilderness environment they have for outdoor adventure enthusiasts.
